Personal Diary

Life, Food, Health&Tips

… Good reason lo not enjoy your daily life ??

10 great reasons to eat…

IN FRENCH: -> V I D E O

Lactic acid fermentation is a metabolic process by which glucose and other sugars (6-carbons) are converted into cellular energy.

The metabolite lactate is lactic acid in solution. It’s taste sooooo gooood and, in +++++ my grand-grand-grand…mother knew, « It’s good for you too! »

Beer, wine, coffee, yogurt, soy sauce, sourdough breads, pickles, vegetables as choucroute and moooore are all rely on fermentation to diffuse this Sbling_Sbliiiing tasty extra YEAR!!, that pungency that tickles your mind, guts, life.

And for the best, fermented foods help promote and maintain good health kicking fat, bad digestion and a poor menu…mhmmmm… a simple Swiss fondue …poor menu ?!? Ayooooo sooooo goooooood…for my digestion of course! 🙂

OKIDOKI…but tell me more!!

  1. THE digestion will thank you!
Fermented foods, partially, are digested foods. This fermentation has done some of the heavy lifting for your digestive system. It is why digesting these foods is easier. The fermentation in yogurts and kefir, for example, help lactose-intolerant people digest dairy foods.

  2. Increased Vitamin
Fermented dairy products release more of the vitamins in foods that our bodies rely on to stay healthy, such as folic acid, B vitamins, riboflavin, and biotin.

  3. Miam Miam Good GOod
It may seem counterintuitive given our propensity for sweet, but that pungent pop you get from fermented foods tastes great.

  4. Add longevity to Shelf Life
Leave a salat or quart of cream or milk in your refrigerator and it will go bad in a week to 10 days. Fermented foods last much longer. Refrigerated pickles, salsa, and sauerkraut will keep for months for example.

  5. vacuum nutriments
Try a dill pickle or sauerkraut. These two fermented veggies are made with lactic acid bacteria. Eating these enzyme-rich foods helps the body absorb nutrients more easily while keeping naturally occurring plant toxins at bay.

  6. Boost your Immune System
Because fermented foods are bacteria-based, they support the beneficial bacteria already in our digestive tract that help your immune system and help ward off disease and illness.

  7. Weight Loss – Your best coach
Some fermented foods, such as sauerkraut, are high in choline, which can help lower blood pressure and metabolize fats more quickly.

  8. Improve Neonatal Health
When a mother has a healthy amount of good bacteria in her own system, those benefits transfer to her fetus and can help prevent neonatal infections. Of course this is the basis of any healthy, bio and good food that mothers, elders, we, you…have to ingest each day

  9. Kick out constipation
The bacteria in fermented foods stimulates peristalsis (fecal elimination) and thus wards off constipation.

  10. Economy Economy
Pickle it yourself and if you have kids it is a great hobby, especially on a summer day, rainy autumn day a cold day on winter….
Fermented vegetables can lower food costs and stretch your budget while keeping healthy veggies on the plate
